GLOW Blend is a multi-component research peptide formulation combining three distinct bioactive molecules: GHK-Cu, a copper-coordinated human tripeptide (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine) in which the Cu(II) ion is coordinated by the imidazole nitrogen of histidine, the alpha-amino nitrogen of glycine, and a deprotonated amide nitrogen; BPC-157, a synthetic pentadecapeptide (Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val, MW 1419.55 Da) corresponding to a partial sequence of a protein from gastric juice; and TB-500, a preparation identified to contain Ac-LKKTETQ, the N-terminal acetylated 17-23 fragment of the 43 amino acid G-actin-sequestering polypeptide thymosin beta-4.
Research Background
GHK-Cu has been investigated across in vitro systems (human dermal fibroblasts, lung fibroblasts from COPD patients, multiple cancer cell lines, keratinocyte cultures), animal models (rats, rabbits, mice, pigs, and dogs), and a limited number of placebo-controlled human skin studies examining photoaging endpoints. BPC-157 has been studied predominantly in rodent preclinical models — including Sprague-Dawley and Wistar rats, mice, and beagle dogs — evaluating wound, tendon, ligament, bone, and gastrointestinal injury models; human research is limited, and a Phase I trial begun in 2015 was not completed with published results. TB-500, identified as containing the N-terminal acetylated 17-23 fragment of thymosin beta-4 (Ac-LKKTETQ), is studied in the context of thymosin beta-4 research, which has employed human umbilical vein endothelial cells and chick aortic arch models.
Observed Areas of Interest in Research
Investigators have examined GHK-Cu's capacity to modulate the expression of thousands of human genes in database analyses, with reported effects on TGF-beta pathway restoration via integrin beta-1 activation, matrix metalloproteinase and TIMP-1/TIMP-2 regulation, NF-kB suppression, and reduction of TNF-alpha-induced IL-6 secretion in dermal fibroblast cultures. BPC-157 research has focused on its interaction with the nitric oxide system, including stimulation of endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS)-derived NO production, upregulation of VEGFR2 in endothelial cells, activation of ERK1/2 and VEGF signaling cascades, and upregulation of antioxidant enzymes including heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1), NQO-1, and glutathione peroxidase. Research on thymosin beta-4 (the parent molecule of the TB-500 fragment) has focused on a seven-amino-acid actin-binding motif identified as essential for observed endothelial cell migration, adhesion, tubule formation, and aortic ring sprouting responses in cell and tissue models.

All products from Blitz Health are manufactured using a lyophilization (freeze-drying) process. This method is designed to maintain product integrity and allows vials to remain stable during shipping for approximately 3–4 months.
Once a vial is reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, it should be stored in the refrigerator to help maintain stability. Under these conditions, reconstituted material is generally considered stable for up to 30 days.
Lyophilization is a dehydration technique in which compounds are frozen and then exposed to low pressure. This causes the water in the vial to sublimate directly from solid to gas, leaving behind a stable, crystalline white structure. This powder can be kept at room temperature until reconstitution.
Upon receipt, products should be stored away from heat and light. For short-term use, refrigeration at approximately 4°C (39°F) is suitable. For long-term storage (several months to years), vials may be placed in a freezer at approximately -80°C (-112°F). Freezing is the preferred method for preserving product stability over extended periods.
